As part of the Group Marketing department, working with multiple stakeholders, you’ll join a small team of video editors, and bring a lot of creativity, a good understanding of marketing and narrative, and experience with motion graphics ensuring the delivery of work that makes both you and all at Sumo Group proud.
The successful candidate will be very hands-on, an experienced and talented Video Editor with a portfolio to show it. You will be able to multi-task efficiently, working well under pressure in fast-paced environments. You will bring an enthusiastic and energetic attitude to teams around you.

Please note, this role is based at our Sheffield studio with hybrid work options available.

As a Video Editor you will:

    • Create video assets within Sumo Group’s marketing team. Including internal communication content, social media campaigns, strategic marketing assets, website content, game trailers, teasers, educational and learning tools, and live streaming.
    • Embrace new ideas and ways of working to produce creative, imaginative, and compelling video assets for Sumo Group and all its businesses.
    • Manage projects autonomously from the initial brief to the final cut, collaborating with stakeholders to meet their needs.
    • Consistently deliver to the highest standard in a fast-paced and dynamic team.

What we need from you:

    • 2+ years of professional video editing experience.
    • Experience working within a marketing/entertainment/video game environment.
    • A strong creative eye.
    • Experience with motion graphics.
    • Ability to collaborate with peers on video projects.
    • Ability to juggle multiple projects, work at a fast pace and deliver to tight deadlines.
