About the role:
We’re searching for a highly skilled and creative Video Editor to join our incredible post-production team to deliver our projects.
This role requires an individual who enjoys bringing cinematic video content to life through skilful editing, and is able to work collaboratively in a close knit team to increase our creative outputs.

Responsibilities
Cut footage with speed and efficiency guided by timecodes noted on set.
Colour correct each shot and grade where appropriate.
Create outstanding cinematic trailers to promote each new series.
Fix recorded audio and add soundtracks to the episodes whilst mounting broadcast-level standards.
Use Media Encoder Export Profiles to export episodes and upload to our hosting site.
Maintain efficient project and file organisation to collaborate effectively with team members.
Provide progress updates in weekly team meetings.
Ideate and experiment with new concepts to ensure the series are always the best they can be.
Work with our team of Content Producers to storyboard animations.
Able to interpret and utilise stock footage effectively.
Deliver edits according to strict deadlines.
Able to receive and build upon constructive criticism and provide your own constructive feedback during peer to peer review.
Meet the other internal creative needs of the business where required.
Requirements
You MUST be highly proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro & the Adobe Creative Cloud suite
Advanced editing skills with plenty of experience in either education or personal work.
A creative eye to provide ideas that can further the quality of the content for our users.
Good editorial judgement to balance high-level academic content with enjoyable entertainment.
Please provide a showreel or at least 3 examples of previous work showcasing your video editing/videography skills.
Location: Liverpool
Start date: August
Salary: up to £23,000 per annum
