Be part of the world’s best technical web-based review company and follow the latest electronic products on the market. RTINGS.com is a fast-growing company, specialized in comprehensive reviews. We started with televisions, and we are now expanding into new product categories. We are now looking for a Videographer + Video Editor to join our team, to be involved in the full video-production pipeline.

Responsibilities:

• 60% - Edit the videos to ensure useful content that is high quality and error free

• 20% - Video production, lighting, filming of A and B-roll, audio

• 10% - Participate in the script and video approbation processes

• 10% - Data wrangling and collect the appropriate assets on the website

• Other duties as assigned

The role:

• Ownership over videos from start to finish, through understanding the script, shooting A-roll and B-roll, gathering of assets, editing, and publication

• Focus on clear and to-the-point videos to help people make a buying decision. Identify questions that people might have, and ensure they are answered. Check out examples on our YouTube channel https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U-sZG43bmKo

• Covers a range of newly released tech across all the different products we test

• All equipment provided (camera, lights, mic, prompter, computer, etc)

• Hybrid role – presence in the office required for filming, but flexibility to work in-person or remote for editing

• You are a team player

• You like to help people and providing the best experience is your priority

• You love watching content on YouTube, subscribe to loads of channels – especially data-driven reviews like Gamers Nexus, Project Farm, Vacuum wars, Torque Test Channel, etc.

• You enjoy structured content and strongly value clarity

Qualification/Experience:

• Good communication English skills, written and verbal

• Good time management skills and interpersonal skills

• Proficient with Mac OS and Windows, and able to troubleshoot the equipment

• Knowledge in production equipment manipulation (sound and cameras. All equipment is provided)

• Proficiency with Blackmagic DaVinci Resolve is a bonus

• DEP/DEC or BACC in Cinema or Television is a bonus
