Job description

The Role:

We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Video Editor to join our production team here in York. Working on projects for both internal and external audiences, for an eclectic mix of national and global brands in sectors including (but not limited to) fashion, retail, charity and tourism.

Applicants will be highly motivated and efficient in creating engaging films and have the creative flare for fresh, innovative and out of the box ideas.

Desired experience:

• Hands on post production experience – editing, grading, VFX and sound mixing/design.
• Ability to effectively communicate with our clients at all levels from project initiation right through to delivery.
• Working in a fast-paced environment delivering work to strict deadlines.
• A keen eye for detail with the ability spot opportunity for unique creative flare.

• Understanding of current trends in promotional film, knowledge of what it takes to create shareable and far reaching video content.

• A good understanding of the global social media landscape.
• Ability to work as part of a multi-skilled team, developing ideas and integrating motion design to form seamless and engaging content.
• A basic level of understanding of After Effects preferred.

Experience Overview:

• Video Editing: 3 years (Preferred).
• No formal qualifications necessary but proven skills and motivation must be evidenced.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £20,000.00-£24,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
