Job description
- 6+ years of experience producing video content for a video game with live services, including both long-form (15 minutes+) and short-form (10-30 seconds) content
- 6+ years of working knowledge of video platforms such as Twitch, YouTube, Facebook Live, Snapchat, Tiktok, etc.
- 6+ years experience using Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Audition, Photoshop, Illustrator, Cinema 4D, 3DS Max and fast at learning new software
- 2+ years experience filming with cinema and studio cameras
- 2+ years interfacing directly with gaming communities at live events
- 2+ years experience in front of the camera for outward-facing videos

We believe in having strong, two-way conversations with our customers across a wide variety of mediums and platforms. With those goals in mind, we are looking for a team member who will share our vision for great video and live stream content. You will join the Community Video team at Amazon Games to help us build a player-centric dialogue across all of our games. Our end goal is produce content that engages, supports, and excites our customers while aligning to and amplifying our Marketing and Community efforts.

Key job responsibilities
- Serve as the primary Video Editor of the Community Video team, creating multiple edits of each video of varying length for a variety of key channels such as YouTube, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, Twitch, TikTok, etc.
- Serve as an additional camera operator and / or sound engineer for all filming sessions
- Travel as required to support productions on-location and in studios across multiple sites
- Occasionally serve as the sole creator for a video, from ideation, to filming and sound recording, to editing
- Work with the Head of Community Video in supporting the the vision, strategy, requirements, tactics, goals, and programs needed to deliver authentic and compelling video and live broadcast
- Become knowledgeable on every Amazon Game release
- Collaborate with product stakeholders to support a recurring cadence of video and broadcast content
- Participate in the “writer’s room” process for the creation of scripts or run of shows for all videos and broadcasts
- Appear on-camera periodically to support the needs of the video
- Work with cross-functional teams on the planning and promotion of video content
- Create style guides that outlines the quality bar for various types of video programs for each of our game titles
- Support streamlined production workflows for content creation from ideation to publication including use of internal teams, use of agencies, project management, scripting, asset production, run of show, and all aspects of the creation and promotion of video or broadcast content
- Support goals, KPIs and performance metrics for video and broadcast channels, projects, and programs to create an iterative environment focused on exploration, learnings, and performance improvement
- Track assets and deliverables required for video and broadcast production
- Support video and broadcasting programs that align with Marketing and Community opportunities, customer interest and needs, and holistically weaves video content into our game publishing and live services efforts.
- Write weekly reports on content performance, customer feedback and sentiment, and learnings
- Strong interpersonal skills, positive, energetic and team oriented
- Considerable passion for video games, game marketing and development, and customer advocacy
- Strong verbal communication skills

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $96,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
