Job description
Role Qualifications:
- 5+years of financial services industry experience in data governance, business controls, data/risk management or technology controls preferred
- Knowledge of control and risk management concepts with the ability to evaluate controls, create procedure and process flows in conjunction with business and control partners
- Experience managing, sourcing, or distributing data and the tools used to support those processes (including Collibra, EBX, Information MDM, or other similar Reference Data or Data Management application)
- Experience with metrics design and development, perform hands-on data analysis and managing development of metrics dashboards
- Hands on experience with agile methodologies and project management tools such as JIRA or Confluence
- Strong relationship-building skills, demonstrated consultative approach and proven skill in influencing others
- Lead and drive communications, stakeholder engagement and resolution of complex issues
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with advanced Excel skills required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present information to senior leaders
- Independent self-starter with the ability to handle multiple priorities and produce successful results in a fast-paced and highly regulated environment
- Capability to coordinate across functional teams, IT professionals, and other key stakeholders
Tools/Methodologies
- Experience in data management tools (Collibra, Atlassian JIRA)
- Agile/Scrum experience and associated tools (Confluence, Jira, Kanban)
- Microsoft desktop productivity tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Word, SharePoint, Teams)
- Experience in business intelligence tools (Qlikview, Tableau) a plus

- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal). Ability to communicate business and technical concepts to both expert and novice audiences, and to all levels of the organization
- Self-starter and independent worker with organization skills for complex projects
- Ability to influence executives or responsible parties in a working project team

- Collaborative mindset and team player across diverse functions, locations and businesses
