Our HR Business Partners live our values, understand how our culture comes to life, and possess a deep knowledge of the business and delivery of all HR services to internal client groups to drive outstanding performance. You will learn the business and culture inside and out so that you are able to provide strategic HR partnership to senior leaders and teams within Technology to enhance their growth and impact.
The ideal candidate has a passion for solving complex challenges and gets excited about leveraging to address talent priorities. You will work on key initiatives and projects in areas such as talent development, employee relations, culture, and diversity, in addition to managing annual talent processes. This is a great opportunity to be a change agent in a fast-paced, growing, environment.
We’ll trust you to:
Play a role in the design and management of talent projects in support of our business strategy and operational priorities.
Provide advice and guidance on various topics including performance management, leadership development, compensation, succession planning, coaching, and talent reviews.
Work on high-impact engagement activities, with an emphasis on employee experience and DEI-related initiatives.
Partner with managers and recruiting to develop hiring plans that support business objectives and advance business priorities.
Support the business through organizational changes and development as needed.
Your clients and colleagues will depend on you to:
Demonstrate an understanding of the vision, purpose, and strategy of the business.
Establish effective partnerships with business leaders to influence talent decisions by providing tailored advice and leveraging expertise for specific business needs.
Drive informed decision-making by using data to identify trends; work with business leaders to determine the root causes of issues and develop effective solutions.
Partner with HR functional teams such as Employee Relations, Compensation Talent Acquisition, etc. to execute on business priorities and identify solutions.
You need to have:
7+ years of HR business partner or generalist experience, ideally in a high-volume environment working closely with leaders and employees.
Ability to use data analytics in generating insights and presenting findings back to the business, as well as tracking and disseminating key HR data.
Demonstrated experience influencing and building strong and trusted relationships and networks.
Ability to execute firm-wide talent initiatives with excellence in a fast paced, global corporate environment, commitment to innovation and continuous improvement.
Strong communication skills along with the ability to articulate a variety of issues to different audiences, tailoring messages accordingly.

Our hybrid work model
BlackRock’s current hybrid work model is designed to enable in-person connections and collaboration that is core to our culture, while supporting increased flexibility for all employees. In line with local health guidance and regulations, employees are required to work at least 3 days in the office each week, with the flexibility to work from home up to 2 days a week. Some business groups may require more time in the office due to their roles and responsibilities.
