The Transformation Central PMO Enablement Specialist will be part of the CAO function and report directly to the Central PMO Global Execution Enablement Director.
The Transformation Central PMO team leads a diverse set of activities across the entire Regulatory Transformation Program including (i) managing and tracking progress against plan across multiple programs and in multiple regions and lines of business, (ii) establishing and enforcing standards and protocols for execution consistency and quality.
The Transformation Central PMO Enablement Specialist will be responsible for executing the strategy and developing product roadmaps for continuous process improvement and technology enablement of core program management capabilities. This role is critical to the planning, prioritization, design and implementation of target state operating models and technology solutions to be adopted across the Transformation Program. This role will be a central interaction point with senior management in the Transformation Office, Regions, Businesses, Functions, Program Groups and Technology to enable the effective execution oversight of the Comprehensive Action Plan. A key aspect of the role is the ability to work across the programs and lines of business often at a fast-moving pace and demonstrate an ability to influence a wide array of stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for designing and deploying Central PMO processes and solutions that enable program managers across the Program to execute the core aspects of their jobs more effectively, especially as it relates to Progress Management, Risks and Issues Management, Change Control, Dependency and Critical Path Management, and Financial and Resource Management
Play a lead role in evolving and enhancing program management capabilities across Businesses and Functions
Partner with the Program PMO teams to ensure high-quality and on-time delivery of key program execution management information
Develop and maintain program-wide product vision and roadmap
Enhance the stakeholder interaction model to further evolve accountability structures, decision rights, communication strategies, and stakeholder engagement models
Establish protocols for developing Central PMO standards, procedures and business requirements, and for creating, prioritizing, grooming and maintaining a backlog of issues and target state enhancements
Work with the Global Enablement Lead and Central PMO Process Leads on the development, triage and grooming of issues and enhancements
Play a lead role in documenting Central PMO standards, procedures and business requirements in accordance with established protocols in close coordination with Central PMO Process Leads
Partner with Technology as a central point of contact throughout the planning, design, build, testing and release of Central PMO technology solutions
Create and maintain training documentation and facilitate training sessions for large numbers of Cross-Enterprise Transformation stakeholders
Become fluent in applicable enterprise-wide policies and standards for program management and ensure target state processes and tools remain in compliance
Maintain process and program documentation including for internal audit purposes
Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders and organizations (e.g., Program and Business PM/PMOs, Cross Enterprise Transformation Leads, Operational Execution Leads, Technology Leads etc)
Work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment, demonstrating teamwork, innovation, and excellence
Deliver appropriate and effective communication that is fit for executive and regulatory level reporting
Qualifications:
Suitable experience ideally gained from within Financial Services (and/or Management Consulting), high-intensity work experience highly desirable
Strong data analysis and data transformation skills, ability to work with large sets of data using Excel and Tableau
Ability to understand complex issues and devise practical solutions
Ability to create executive level presentation materials, conveying information in a clear and impactful way
Excellent communication skills
Solid understanding of project management and PM/PMO responsibilities
Experience with project management tools
Strong interpersonal skills, track record of managing and working with a broad spectrum of internal clients / stakeholders
Self-starter who brings high sense of urgency to assignments and goals
Comfortable with ambiguity and change
Strong listening skills and ability to engage at the senior management levels
Financial Services Industry is a plus
Education:
Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience, potentially Masters degree
