Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Vetting Advisor. You'll be joining our team during a time of significant focus and change, leading to opportunities to simplify and improve processes from the offset.
We’re a dynamic team who support across the Recruitment & Talent teams as well as other parts of People & Places, GCA, Brands & Marketing and I&D.
The role will require you to use your ability to build strong relationships across a wide range of stakeholders in order to support and advise where required.
Ideally the job will be located in Leeds/Edinburgh however we can be flexible with that.

About the role...
- You'd be responsible for the Onboarding & Vetting of our candidates in line with our vetting policies & procedures, so previous experience in vetting is essential.
- You’ll be required to make outbound calls to candidates to communicate all requirements of the onboarding & vetting processes, gathering the relevant information.
- You’ll be responding to candidates both written & verbally, so excellent communication skills are essential.
- Managing your own portfolio, you’ll work to agreed Service Level Agreements maintaining accurate well organised documentation ensuring all systems are updated efficiently. Attention to detail is key.
- The ability to analyse data and identify trends to improve process & metrics is required.
- You’ll be required to conduct Right to Work checks, so experience of working with the relevant Government Guidance to ensure compliant hiring is essential.
- Extensive working knowledge of Microsoft office applications is required.
