Veterinary Vision offers a dedicated ophthalmology referral service for cases referred throughout the UK. We are equipped with state-of-the-art operating facilities for all types of ocular surgery in a friendly, caring environment where the well-being of the patient is our top priority.
Due to expansion into the Glasgow area we are seeking a warm and welcoming receptionist to join and help build our newly refurbished Newton Mearns site (Opening May 2023).
Your focus is to provide an exceptional service to our clients and the best care possible to their pets - providing a link between clients and the clinical team. Your ability to build strong relationships with our clients, their pets and the practice team will be critical to your success. You will greet each client and offer support, guidance and expertise, managing payments and future bookings confidently. Coordinating the smooth running of the day-to-day routines of the practice will be done using our practice management system, so computer literacy is a must. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and tidiness in the reception and front of house area. You will a play a key role in preparing medicines for our patients and processing of repeat prescription order collections. You will also carry out general housekeeping, filing and receptionist duties.
The successful candidate will have previous reception/adminstration experience, good verbal and written communication skills and have a keen eye for detail. Specific training will be provided for the successful candidate.
