Hello! This is Warm Springs Pet Hospital. We are a large and thriving practice in south Fremont, looking for the right person to join our wonderful staff.

About Us
We started in 2016 and have grown quickly into a 9-doctor hospital. We get to see many exciting cases and surgeries daily, and we have been lucky to be one of the highest rated clinics in Alameda County.

What We Offer
Work/Life Balance: Our last scheduled appointments are 90 minutes before closing. That way, we all go home on time each day. Most other places schedule appointments up to closing, which makes the work hours longer and more unpredictable.

Support: You’ll always be working alongside a large team of back staff who are friendly and eager to assist you. We have a structured training guideline and managers who are there to help with any questions as you become acquainted with our office.

Compensation: Our base pay is very competitive, and we also offer various monthly bonus opportunities which can greatly add to overall pay. Starting as of June 2022, we are also offering a $6,000 hiring bonus for a full-time RVT.

What We Are Looking For
This position is for a registered veterinary technician (RVT). If you are an experienced assistant, but not a RVT, please see apply under our open ad for a Veterinary Assistant. We are looking for a full-time candidate. Full-time is 5 days/week, starting at 9am and going to 5pm. Willingness to work Saturdays is a plus but not a requirement. The most important thing for us is to find someone who gets along well with others and is comfortable working in a large team setting.

What You'd Be Doing
Typical technician duties include: IV catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring, taking x-rays, running bloodwork, giving vaccines, restraining pets, surgery prep, dental scaling, IM and IV injections, etc. We try to use our techs to their fullest and we don’t pull them away to be a glorified receptionists or kennel assistants – you’ll get to do what you were trained to do!

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $36.00 per hour
