Our client, a veterinary ophthalmology referral service provider across Cumbria, the North East, and the North West, is looking for a qualified and experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their team. The role will be based at their premises in Preston, where they offer comprehensive training in ophthalmology for candidates without previous experience in the field.
The ideal candidate for this position is a dedicated and enthusiastic RVN who takes pride in delivering high standards of patient care. Our client's practice is fully equipped with state-of-the-art operating facilities to handle various ocular surgeries. They prioritise the well-being of their patients and provide a caring and friendly environment.
With three sites catering to ophthalmology referrals from throughout the UK, our client's practice utilises advanced technology, including Slit lamp bio microscopy, Tonometry, Binocular indirect ophthalmoscopy, Gonioscopy, Ocular ultrasonography, Refraction testing, Colour pupillary light reflex assessment, Electroretinography (ERG), and Fundic photography. Moreover, they have two state-of-the-art operating theatres, three consultation rooms, and walk-in kennels.

The Role:
- Full Time role – 8 hour shifts
- Monday – Friday
- No weekends
- Overtime
