The role
In this diverse and dynamic role, you’ll be an RCVS Registered Nurse or final year Student Veterinary Nurse with small animal practice experience, you put high standards of patient care first and can demonstrate how you’ve worked with empathy and demonstrated initiative when needed. You also understand not only your role but also the capabilities of PCA’s and student nurses, and are eager to help colleagues to develop their skills and knowledge.

The ideal candidate will enjoy working as part of a busy team and possess the confidence to work alone when required; you will have a flexible and adaptable approach to work and be happy to get stuck in wherever needed. You will see a wider range of cases whilst working alongside experienced colleagues and certificate holders. This is a great opportunity to thrive in a busy hospital environment!
The position can be part time or full time, working up to 40 hours per week, with 1 in 6 weekends.
Salary and Benefits
Salary £30,000 (full time)
CPD allowance £750 and 2-days CPD leave per annum and in-house CPD available

Medivet Leamington Spa is a modern 24-hour Veterinary Hospital that offers a safe and secure working environment in the heart of the beautiful town of Royal Leamington Spa in Warwickshire close to Stratford-upon-Avon and its theatres. Leamington Spa has excellent road links close to the M1, M40, M6 and Birmingham Airport is just a 30 minute drive.
Our busy multidisciplinary Hospital provides the out of hours service for 18 surrounding veterinary clinics. You will be working alongside a supportive RVN and have access to a fully equipped Hospital including digital x-ray, ultrasound, flexible and rigid endoscopy, multiparameter monitor and orthopaedic equipment. Other facilities include 3 consult rooms, 1 dental room, a theatre, imaging room and separate cat and dog kennel areas as well as isolation kennels and recovery kennels in a large prep room with 2 additional work stations.
