Job description
Are you a Vet Surgeon looking for an exciting new role, with heaps of opportunity and an attractive salary of up to £55,000? Visa sponsorship fully supported and relocation package available.
We are looking for a Small Animal Vet to join the team at Stewart Vets. We have a fantastic new management team in place and the practice has recently undergone an extensive refurbishment, so this is a brilliant and unique opportunity to be part of a busy small animal practice with a supportive and friendly team. Why not come and join us on this new adventure!
The site is based in Dudley and we are extremely proud of our large and loyal client base. We are the sole provider of veterinary care for Dudley Zoo! So, if you have an interest in exotics, we are the practice for you.
We have all the modern facilities and equipment you would expect including 3 consult rooms (2 Vets, one dedicated nurse consult), 1 prep/dental suite, 2 operating theatres, separate cat and dog kennel areas, 2x exotic vivariums, separate x-ray room, state-of-the-art ultrasound scanner and endoscopy equipment. You will have a lot of opportunity to have continuity and work up cases, working out the best approach for each individual case. Caseloads include small animal, general surgery, orthopaedics, diagnostic imaging, exotics and Zoo.
You would be joining a dedicated and friendly team led by our Practice Director. We are a passionate and social team who always make time for each other and have fun alongside work, meeting for walks and various events and every Friday is ‘Treat Friday' paid for by management! What's not to love?
What we are looking for…
Ideally, you will be a confident Small Animal Vet who strives to deliver high standards, a team player and willingness to learn and support the other members of the team. We actively encourage certificates and support anyone who would like to progress within the practice, so if you are driven, then we have the opportunity for you!
One of our team has this to say about working at Stewart Vets - "It's a great atmosphere and working environment, fast paced and never a dull moment. Since CVS acquired Stewarts all the changes have been positive and there's always opportunity for progression. We're rewarded and recognised for our hard work too which makes you feel like a valued member of staff."
Full or part-time hours available - tell us what works for you and we'll do our very best to accommodate this.
In return, we can offer a competitive salary of up to £55k, depending on experience and qualifications. Do you have any financial tie-in with your current employer? Don't worry, we have that covered.
We know that benefits are key, and that your personal benefits priorities will differ from others. Holidays, pensions, discounts, paternal leave, fee payments or share save schemes might be your priority. Flexible working is essential for others, and we are very open to finding a creative working pattern that suits. For clinical staff, CPD is probably critical. Just so you know we offer a wide range of amazing CPD – you'll have access to Knowledge Hub, the best online veterinary learning resource within the industry - and we also offer an allowance to spend on external courses too. If you'd like to learn more, do feel free to contact the recruiter managing this campaign and ask them to talk you through our offerings. Or, if easier, you can find a list at on our careers site CVS Employee Benefits- what we can offer you. (cvsukltd.co.uk)
