Job description
This is a new post, so initially as fixed term, but may be extended to a permanent position.
We are looking for someone who is self motivated and happy to work in a small team. Previous experience of working in the veterinary industry would be useful, but not essential.
This would involve a wide range of tasks.
Taking care of, feeding and walking animals after surgery or whilst hospitalised.
Assisting the vet or nurses & hold animals during examination if needed.
General cleaning duties – hoovering, mopping, cleaning kennels, cleaning up after surgery to include theatre, surgical kits and re packing kits ready for the next operations.
Laundry - Washing and stacking clean bedding
Answering the telephone and making appointments.
Unpacking the orders: Stocking shelves and stock rotation.
Recycling duties
Laboratory work.
Reception work /admin duties
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
Salary: From £10.00 per hour
