About us

Northwest Veterinary Specialists, formerly Northwest Surgeons, established in 2003, grew from a family run business to become one of the Northwest's leading orthopaedic referral hospitals. Following the introduction of Internal Medicine in 2009, Northwest Veterinary Specialists evolved into a Multi-Discipline Veterinary Hospital.

We are a true multidisciplinary referral only hospital with departments in orthopaedic surgery, soft tissue surgery, neurology, internal medicine, oncology, anaesthesia and diagnostic imaging. Each of the clinical disciplines is staffed to European Diplomate or RCVS Specialist standards. The hospital is well equipped and provides excellent inpatient facilities with qualified RVNs and veterinary interns on-site 24/7. Imaging includes computed radiography, fluoroscopy (with digital subtraction and road-mapping), ultrasonography and on-site MRI and CT.

At Linnaeus, we are committed to supporting the physical and mental health of all our Associates.
