Candor Vets working with a reputable veterinary practice, in Cumbria to seek a skilled and adaptable Mixed Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join their dynamic team.
The Practice:
- This is a well-established veterinary practice with two branches located in Longtown and Carlisle, set amidst the beautiful Lake District.
- The practice is known for its inclusive, supportive, and fun work environment, where clients’ pets are treated with the utmost care and compassion.
- The team comprises 8 Vets, 4 registered veterinary nurses, 2 student veterinary nurses, 3 animal care assistants, a Practice Manager, Farm Services Manager, and 6 highly skilled Receptionists.
- Continuous professional development and training are highly encouraged, and the practice is also a nurse training center.
Main Duties:
- Enjoy a tailored role that suits their interests and strengths, working across both the Longtown and Carlisle branches.
- Work flexible hours and rota patterns to achieve an excellent work-life balance.
- Provide exceptional veterinary care to a diverse range of animals, including small companion animals and farm animals.
- Perform routine medical examinations, surgeries, and treatments.
- Participate in on-call duties with the support of a nurse during weekends and one night per week.
Benefits:
- Salary of up to £65,000 depending on experience.

Applicant Requirements:
