Are you in interested in Veterinary career? Do you want our dogs to have access to the best care possible?

We are recruiting for a Veterinary Nurse assistant to assist the Nurses in running of the veterinary suite and veterinary care of the dogs within a centre.

We love dogs. That’s why we do whatever we can to make sure every four-legged friend gets the love they deserve. We’ll never put a healthy dog down, so our work is focused on helping dogs in need, supporting owners every step of the walk, and creating a better world for dogs in the future. It’s what we’ve been doing since 1891 and how we’ve grown to become the UK’s leading dog charity, helping 12,000 loyal friends find their forever homes every year.

Rehoming centres aim to successfully rehome as many dogs as possible. Each rehoming centre strives to achieve excellence in our logistical and rehoming processes as well as our, already high, canine welfare and customer experience standards.

In this exciting role you will work closely with the Veterinary nurse and be involved in scheduling of appointments and clinical work, updates and monitoring of patient records following procedures or consultation, processing of invoices and other administrative duties. You will also ensure that the veterinary suite is maintained to the highest standards of hygiene. While always delivering a high standard of customer service to the members of the public and adopters.

With good organisational and time management skills, you will have good understanding of customer service as well as knowledge of dogs and their welfare requirements.

To apply for this position please click the APPLY NOW button. Our application process requires you submit a CV and a cover letter explaining your interest and suitability for the role.

Please note that we may close this vacancy early if we receive enough suitable interest, so to avoid disappointment early application is encouraged.
