Boroughmuir Rugby and Community Sports Club are recruiting for a Venue Manager. Working closely with the Limited Company Board the primary aim is to deliver a high-quality profitable service to all customers of the Canalside venue.
Boroughmuir is a club steeped in heritage and provides a place where groups of people across the community can meet and enjoy the comfort of our clubhouse and venue. Role Responsibilities include.......
- Managing the smooth running of the café, bar and venue, and liaising with bar and kitchen staff to ensure consistent and excellent service standards.
- Liaising with suppliers, and sourcing cost-effective deals.
- Ensure operations are profitable in line with operational targets.
- Responsible for all Recruitment, On Boarding, Training and ongoing development of all team members including deployment of staff that meets the needs of the business.
- Take Ownership of payroll, including understanding procedures, calculating of hours and how to report payroll.
- Implement licensing legislation ensuring all staff understand procedures and compliance.
- Ensure that the Club’s responsibilities under Health and Safety and Fire Safety are carried out proficiently.
- Delivering event management in relation to bar, catering, and facility requirements, including match days.
- Oversight of all day-to-day management issues
- Ensure the Club Diary booking system is managed effectively.
- Complete bars and facilities management administration, reporting to Board Meetings on operational matters as required.

- Proven experience of implementing a strong customer experience. Providing robust training, guidance, and development.
- Strong attention to detail in all administration and compliance to procedures.
- Work with a pro-active approach to all elements of the role.
Role Details
- Salary - Basic Salary £26K OTE = £30K (Negotiable, depending on Experience)
- Working Week = 5/7 days
- Shifts to meet the needs of the business with flexibility
- 28 days holiday + Bank Holidays
- On site Parking

Salary: £26,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
