We are now looking for a Venture Debt Credit and Portfolio Consultant to support us with a period of growth.

Responsibilities of the Venture Debt Credit and Portfolio Consultant:

  • Conduct thorough underwriting of venture debt deals in the UK and Europe.
  • Collaborate with the origination team to lead potential transactions, focusing on due diligence, analysis, underwriting, and overall transaction execution.
  • Represent the firm at industry conferences and events specific to the sector.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the company's investment philosophy and credit discipline.
  • Maintain ongoing relationship management with existing clients, including monthly reporting and deal management.
  • Expand market awareness of the brand within the UK technology sector.
  • Foster a positive impact by being a team player, effective project manager, and developing strong working relationships.
  • Demonstrate commitment to the team's goals and contribute to a cooperative and supportive work environment.

Requirements of the Venture Debt Credit and Portfolio Consultant:

  • 8 to 20 years of relevant experience, preferably in venture debt credit or cashflow lending credit, venture capital, or related roles within a similar industry and customer size.
  • Previous experience in making debt and/or equity investments in private software, SaaS, and tech-related service companies.
  • Established and strong relationships with tech VCs, growth equity funds, banks, and other sector participants.
  • Proven track record of success in credit and risk management, as well as relationship management.
  • Strong skills in credit or equity structuring and underwriting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Passionate about exceeding objectives and contributing to a growth-oriented organization.
  • Strong team-oriented approach with the ability to work independently.

Compensation: Competitive and to be discussed

Location: Remote and Hybrid with a few days in our London office per week

Contract: Interim contract to start growing to a permanent role

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary contract, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
Part-time hours: 10-30 per week

Salary: From £2,000.00 per month
