Vehicle Progressor –CARZ
Aberdeen
£25,466 + £2400 + Excellent Benefits
45 hours – Shifts across Monday to Saturday

Our CARZ dealership in Aberdeen is busier than ever and therefore looking for a Vehicle Progressor to join the team on a full-time permanent basis. The Vehicle Progressor is responsible for ensuring that vehicles coming through the showroom are logged, prepared and ready for sale. The role of the Vehicle Progressor is to oversee and drive through the outward movement of new, used and trade vehicles from the site. They maintain records of vehicle progress throughout. They liaise extensively with admin, handover (sometimes sales), workshop control, body shop, parts and valet, maintaining productive internal working relationships. They have contact with external colleagues, primarily transporter drivers or valet company partners.
What you will do
- Ensures all delivery times are achieved as detailed on the daily delivery sheets,and ensure all valeting and extra work requirements are complete.
- Communicate to sales team/Handover team if delivery times are likely not to be achieved.
- Control the valeting system/ procedures, to ensure that the correct valet is requested, and that the vehicle is cleaned to a satisfactory standard.
- Inspect vehicles before handover to ensure they meet and exceed customer expectations.
- Attend the sales/handover meetings every morning to clarify any possible amendments to delivery schedule.
- Organise cosmetic repairs and valeting in a timely fashion.
- Ensure vehicle is completed for delivery minimum 3 hours in advance.
- Ensure quality of all vehicles meet PVL standards before placing on the forecourt.
- Ensure all cars meet the standards of our 2 metre rule
- Identify Cost Savings
What you will need
- Ability to liaise and multi-task with different departments.
- Manage a busy and demanding workload.
- Organised and proven ability to prioritise.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and own your own initiative
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Good level of computer literacy
