Shredall SDS Group provides a Total Information Management service, from shredding and recycling to document scanning and storage. We destroy confidential documents, computer hard drives and unused products; scan files to create space-saving digital archives; and provide hard-copy storage and media vault services. Our secure, state-of-the-art depot currently stores over six million items. Our head office and main depot is in Nottingham, with a further depot in Glasgow allowing us to provide both regular and ad-hoc shredding, scanning, storage and recycling services across the UK.

Responsibilities:
- Provide service as per customer request. This includes operating shredding equipment and weighing equipment as necessary.
- Check vehicle before leaving site and sign maintenance sheets provided by operations manager.
- Ensure vehicle is locked and secure when attending customer premises and shredding depot.
- Ensure work order instructions are followed, including weight/counting items as necessary.
- You must be able to drive safely and considerately in keeping with DVLA and VOSA requirements whilst following the daily schedule as organised by the Operations Manager.
- Ensure your vehicle has the correct tools on board to do the jobs required. This includes spare sacks, lockable containers, correct PPE and spill kits.
- Record all consignment details on the destruction certificate or waste transfer note
- Be able to operate a tablet
- Ensure that all vehicles are cleaned and well maintained, report any bumps/accidents immediately to the Operations Manager. You will be responsible for the security of the vehicle when in motion.
- Assume responsibility for matters of environment, health & safety at all times, including the completion of any forms or documentation which may support either OHSAS18001 or ISO 14001, e.g., spillage report forms, accident books, etc.
- Escalate to Operations Manager any issues or concerns which have not been satisfactorily addressed by the Operations department.
Requirements:
- Clean Driver’s license
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities
- Willing to show initiative
- Basic IT skills
- Familiarity with health and safety requirements preferred
- Flexible
- Prepared to occasionally work away with overnight stays
- Team player
You will also be required to undertake full DBS security checks
