Van Driver (Collection & Delivery) Gloucester, England
Job description
We are looking for an experienced collection / delivery driver to join our team. You will be based in Gloucester, GL2 and will cover SW England and South Wales with anywhere between 1 and 7 drops a day.
3.5 medium wheel based vehicle, fuel & uniform will all be provided. Manual handling will be involved.
Salary: £23,000 p.a. plus o/t at 1.5
Hours: 39.5 hours per week. Average hours 8-10 per day
Schedule: Mon - Fri. Normal start time will be 7am, finish times may vary between 3pm and 6pm.
You will need:
· Previous experience in a similar role
· Excellent customer service skills
· A full UK Driving licence with no more than 6 points (for minor offences not DR10 or IN10)
· To be over 21 for insurance purposes
· Good knowledge of the local area
· To use a handheld device (some training is provided)
· To be reliable / flexible and hardworking
