Job description

Immediate start required for a self-motivated, reliable van driver who would like to join an aspiring team. The role is for 20-hours per week and may require longer shifts as well as weekend work. Core hours may be negotiable, but required to work around operations.

Individual Quality, Health, Safety & Environmental Responsibilities:

· Understand the application of the Health and Safety at Work, etc. Act 1974 and other legislation relevant to your role

· Attend courses/seminars run by external sources where required

· Ensure familiarity with all risk assessments

· Assist with health and safety inspections and associated actions

· Participate in emergency drills as require by Titan or our Customers

· Report all health and safety issues to the line manager or QHSE department

· Report all environment and service quality issues to the line manager

In any small organisation, the team members must be flexible and willing to undertake a wide range of activities during the course of daily business, including some which may not normally be part of the job for example, helping with loading and unloading jobs. It is therefore a requirement that the individual filling this position has an aptitude to learn new skills, to think for him/herself and be able to work in an environment where fixed routines may not be established.
