Trinity Business Support are currently looking for a Van Driver for our Newcastle based client.

Our client are a local independent food produce distributor and due to increase in orders, they now require an additional member of staff.

Duties will include:

• Picking and packing the products from picking sheets
• Loading and unloading the goods
• Securing goods for transit
• Delivering to commercial and retails units
• Weekly cleaning of the vehicle
• Fault reporting
• Potential cash collection
• Route planning

Shifts:

5 days between Monday to Saturday (Saturdays on a rota) - never a Sunday

07.30-15.30 - 42.5hrs paid per week

Pay:

£23,205 per year / £1933.75 per month / £446.25 per week

First 12 weeks employed via Trinity Business Support - weekly pay

After 12 weeks employed directly by the client - monthly pay

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £10.50 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 12 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Overtime
• Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Newcastle upon Tyne: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

• Delivery driver experience: 1 year (required)
• Driving: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

• Driving Licence (required)
