We are seeking an experienced Truck Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods from one location to another, ensuring that all cargo is loaded and unloaded correctly, and following all applicable laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will have a valid commercial driver's license, a clean driving record, and experience in driving large trucks. We are looking for someone who is reliable, organized, and has excellent customer service skills.
Responsibilities:
- Have a valid commercial driver's license (CDL).
- Adhere to all applicable laws and regulations.
- Maintain a clean driving record.
- Load and unload cargo safely and securely.
- Inspect the truck before each trip to ensure it is in good working order.
- Keep accurate records of cargo, mileage, and fuel consumption.
- Follow safety protocols when transporting hazardous materials.
- Communicate with dispatchers and other drivers.
Job Type: Temp to perm
Contract length: 12 months
Salary: £90.00-£140.00 per day
