Warehouse/Van Driver
Location: Yate, BS37 5NH
Salary: £26,500 per annum
Weekly Hours: 48 hours per week
Shift Pattern: Any 5 out of 6 days (including Saturday’s)
Start Time: between 10pm – Midnight

The role:
We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, forward thinking, and ambitious person to assist with the Company’s distribution operation, ensuring that all deliveries are completed in full and within the specified timescales.
In addition, to ensure the warehouse operation is organised, monitored and controlled correctly and that the resulting procedures and standards are implemented and managed consistently.
Key Responsibilities of the role:
- Maintain the pace and standards of performance within the Warehouse.
- Picking products to route level from mixed pallets.
- Completion of relevant paperwork.
- Checking of products for Quality and Quantity issues.
- Manual handling - picking up goods weighing up to 25kg (full training provided).
- Provide an efficient, friendly service at all times to create and maintain a customer focused environment.
- Complete and return of all Company and customer paperwork to the required standard.
- Adhere with Company Policy in relation to personal hygiene, personal presentation, health and safety and housekeeping at all times.
- Maintaining Company Security policy, ensuring that any suspicious incidents are reported to Senior Management.
To be successful in your application, you will need to demonstrate/possess the below skills, experience, and qualities:
- Current valid Forklift Licence (Counterbalance)
- Excellent communication, problem solving skills and customer focus.
- Full UK driving license with a minimum B/B1 category driving license and no more than 6 points at recruitment.
- A team player with a 'can do' attitude.
- The ability to work to tight deadlines, on your own initiative and within a team.
