Job description
Our fleet includes a range of waste handling trucks, commercial vehicles, and plant machinery. The driver/valeter will be responsible for working from the depot and delivering vehicles to our customers and will also be responsible for the valeting vehicles to a high standard whilst completing the necessary paperwork for the rental department.

Hours: 40 per week
Salary: £25,000 per annum

Main areas of Accountability
- The role holder will be responsible for the delivery and collection of HGV vehicles
- Completion of rental related paperwork
- Valeting of HGV vehicles
- Inspections of vehicles for damage
- Help to keep the depot clean and tidy
- Keep the hire desk updated on a regular basis
- Take workshop vehicles to HGV testing station
- D&C customer vehicles for the workshop
- Collect parts for the workshop when required
- Flexible hours catering for the needs of the business
- Communication skills
- Preparation of vehicles for hire
- Willing to work overtime as and when required
- Daily checks on runner vehicles and recorded
- Excellent customer communication skills
- To take reasonable care of your own health and safety, and to take reasonable care not to put other people – fellow employees, members of the public – at risk by what you do or don’t do in the course of your work
