Job description

Provide high quality project, service, initiative, and administrative support including information and analysis. The post holder will undertake reporting and analysis of information to support delivery The post holder is a key member of the team whose overarching goal is to enable, promote and support the effective use of data, information, knowledge, and technology to improve, inform and support a portfolio of projects, services, and initiatives. Planning and Organisation Support implementation of project, service, initiative through timely and relevant information analysis and administrative support, in accordance with the agreed priorities of the Team. Deliver against agreed objectives, achieving quality outcomes. Organise meetings or events and assist in the diary management requirements of individuals in connection with portfolio of work. Policy and Service Development Implementation Propose changes to own project, service, initiative work, informing policy and making recommendations for more effective delivery. Contribute to the review and development of existing project information management systems and contribute to the development of an integrated approach to project management. Analytical and Judgemental Undertake information/project analysis as agreed with job lead. Contribute to effective information management within the team. Participate in relevant internal and external working groups/projects to provide information/analyst advice and support and to maintain data collection systems for its effective use by the team. Analyse and report on data and monitor the processing of data and information. Provides information to project lead on project and statistical information matters The Integrated Care Board (ICB) is a statutory body responsible for local NHS services, functions, performance and budgets. It is directly accountable to the NHS and is made up of local NHS trusts, primary care providers, and local authorities. The ICB is responsible for joining up care services to improve patient experience in the community. The Board includes a chair, the chief executive and representatives from NHS organisations, primary care (GPs) and local authorities (councils). The Integrated Care Partnership (ICP) is a statutory committee that brings together all system partners to produce a health and care strategy. As a forum to support partnership working, the ICP brings together local authorities, health and social care, and housing providers. How does it work? The ICB helps bring together hospitals and family doctors, physical and mental health, the NHS, local councils and community and voluntary sector services. By bringing together partners, it allows for greater input from all those involved in delivering services, resulting in better care wrapped around individuals. Why do we have an Integrated Care Board? The ICB ensures that the best possible care is available to people in our communities. It constantly assesses what needs to change to meet the level and complexity of care in the county. The ICB ensures that integrated care improves population health and reduces inequalities between different groups. The post holder may be required to work at any establishment at any time throughout the duration of their contract, normally within the location of the ICB, or as set out under the terms of their contract. Financial and Physical Resources Support and inform the requirement and targeting of resources, monitoring, implementing and evaluating jobs and delivery of financial recovery/savings plans by providing high quality information and analysis. Contribute to the financial delivery of the agreed portfolio ensuring it is delivered on time. HR Responsibilities Provide training, advice and support on own area of responsibility. Support training and induction of new and existing staff. Supervises team on their day-to-day activities Participate in the recruitment process of support staff Information Resources Carry out timely and accurate information analysis and reporting on agreed areas of portfolio and present findings in an agreed manner. Develop and maintain databases required by job. Maintain administrative and information resources. Research and Development Undertake auditing of projects, services, initiatives. Carry out web based and publications research. Actively supports and contributes to the development of key performance indicators for the successful assessment of performance. Effort and Environment Mental effort Requires sustained use of computer during working shift. Working conditions of the post Regular and sustained Video Display Unit (VDU) usage. Supplementary Duties & Responsibilities Mobility Employees may be required to work at any of the other sites within the organisation subject to consultation. The organisation is in a period of rapid change due to developments and rationalisation of services. This will lead to modification of structures and job descriptions.
