Role Overview
As a UX Designer at Sliide, you will play a crucial role in our mobile technology company, solving challenges for mobile network operators and handset manufacturers globally. Your primary responsibility will be to execute the UX design process, contribute to the design library, and actively participate in ideation, prototyping, and user testing. You will work closely with product designers and product managers to create exceptional digital products that are used and loved by millions of people worldwide.
You Will:
Execute the UX design process: Take ownership of the end-to-end UX design process, including user research, wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing, to deliver exceptional user experiences.
Contribute to the design library: Actively contribute to the design library by documenting and sharing best practices, design patterns, and guidelines to ensure consistency and efficiency across projects.
Collaborate with product designers and product managers: Work closely with the product design and product management teams to align on goals, gather requirements, and iterate on designs to meet project goals and deliver features on time.
Manage stakeholder relationships: Effectively manage stakeholder relationships by clearly communicating design decisions, gathering feedback, and incorporating relevant input while maintaining a user-centred approach.
Share your knowledge and expertise by providing guidance and mentorship to less experienced designers and product designers, helping them grow their skills in UX and contribute to the team's success.
Requirements:
Demonstrated expertise in executing the UX design process, from user research and wireframing to prototyping and usability testing.
Proficiency in design and prototyping tool Figma.
Strong portfolio showcasing your past UX design projects and your ability to solve complex design challenges.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to effectively present and articulate design decisions to stakeholders.
Empathy and a user-centred approach to design, with a strong understanding of user research methodologies.
Experience working in cross-functional teams and collaborating closely with product designers and product managers.
Proven track record of meeting project goals and delivering features on time and within scope.
Demonstrated expertise using data to make informed design decisions.
Desired:
Experience in the mobile technology industry or related fields.
Familiarity with the latest trends and best practices in UX design for mobile applications.
Experience with motion design and micro-interactions to enhance user experiences.
Ability to mentor and provide leadership to other team members, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
Active participation in design communities, conferences, or events, demonstrating a passion for continuous learning and staying updated with industry trends.
