Job description
We are looking for an ambitious and self-driven Junior UX Designer to join our rapidly growing team. You will report and work closely with the UX Manager to shape our products by assisting in producing innovative designs and implementing CRO testing. Day to day you will explore different avenues to determine the best design solutions taking a user-centred approach while adjusting at every stage to ensure they will have the greatest positive impact on our users.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Identifying usability issues from heuristics, competitive analysis, quantitative and qualitative data
· Assist in executing the Sephora UX strategy whilst adhering to both brand guidelines and design systems
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement innovative solutions
· Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, and interactive prototypes to effectively communicate design solutions and interactions
· Collaborating on design concepts with fellow team members
· Refining your work based on feedback
· Creating rich prototypes to demonstrate user flows and interactions
· Iterating on designs and tests, reporting your findings and results to the wider team
· Contributing to our design system after qualitative/ quantitative results
· Carry concepts through the end-to-end process - from early UX exploration, refined designs through and including UX and CRO testing while also being open to working on segments of this process
Skills Required:
· Working knowledge of Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD or similar
· Excellent collaboration and communication skills with technical and non-technical colleagues
· Understand the principles of UX and able to assist in designing wireframes and hi-fi prototypes with a design system
· Strong communication both verbal and written
· Ability to produce high-quality content on time, with attention to detail
· A well-organised team player with the ability to perform various tasks independently and think both creatively and analytically
· A proactive and competitive attitude, as well as a willingness to learn and develop your UI/UX design skills
· A keen eye for user-centric design, coupled with knowledge of UX for accessibility and inclusion
· Good level understanding of front-end coding (HTML and CSS at a minimum)
· An ability to conduct competitor analysis and benchmarking, create user journeys, user flows, sitemaps, and wireframes
· Strong knowledge and passion for user experience, technology, and design
· Proactive at seeking feedback, explaining designs, and identifying usability issues
· Clear written and verbal communication
· Passionate about creating world-class user experiences for customers
· A clear portfolio to demonstrate your abilities
Job Types: Full-time, Graduate
Salary: £26,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
