Job description
Who we are
ADARMA began life in 2009, with a fierce determination to make cyber resilience a reality for every organisation, every day. This has guided us as we've adapted and grown to become one of the UK's leading threat specialists. Our journey is remarkable. But what's ahead is even more inspiring. Together, we're growing and transforming like never before. We're partnering with even more customers, and creating more innovative and resilient solutions. And we're taking our thinking and our whole sector further, every single day.
What you’ll do
We are looking for a senior UX/UI Designer for our portals, who will play a critical role in shaping the visual identity and user experience of our customer-facing and internal-facing platforms. In this role you will collaborate closely with product managers, software engineers, and stakeholders to create intuitive and visually appealing interfaces that enhance the overall usability and effectiveness of our portals. Your designs will empower our customers to visualise their security posture in real-time and provide our SOC engineers with efficient tools for managing alerts and incidents.
Some of your responsibilities will be:
- Portal Design Strategy: Develop a comprehensive design strategy for the customer portal and SOC portal, considering user personas, user flows, and business objectives.
- User Research: Conduct user research activities, such as interviews and usability testing, to gain insights into user needs, pain points, and preferences.
- Wireframing and Prototyping: Create wireframes, interactive prototypes, and design concepts to illustrate and validate the proposed user experience and functionality.
- Visual Design: Craft visually appealing and consistent interface designs, considering usability principles, branding guidelines, and industry best practices.
- Collaborative Design Process: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, software engineers, and stakeholders, to gather requirements and refine designs based on feedback.
Career progression will normally be to a more senior role in Design, or a senior role in a Product or frontend development.
What you’ll bring
- Proven experience as a UX/UI Designer, ideally working on complex web applications or portals.
- Proficient in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar.
- Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
- Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and creating wireframes/prototypes.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities.
- A portfolio showcasing relevant design work that demonstrates a strong UX/UI skillset.

Great compensation and benefits package including:
- Private health care, virtual GP and 24/7 employee assistance programme
- Hybrid and flexible working
- Mental wellbeing platform access
- Financial wellbeing support
- Company pension
- Ongoing training and development opportunities with industry recognised accreditations and qualifications
