Job description
Total Care and Support are looking for individuals to work on a project for IXWireless on their future proof wireless network.
We are looking for the right candidates to join us as Utilities Operatives, in which these roles are working out in the field, as part of our IXW Civils and Connection teams or alongside dedicated contractors.
General duties
Cabling
Splicing
Telegraph pole quality checking
Traffic Management
Trial digs
We are looking for operatives with the skills below;
Class 2 driver
Driving for less than 48 hours of their working month (minimal driving)
Have CPC + Tacho card (valid/in date)
Can drive Cat C & C1E
£3,000 increment on salary
360 Excavator up to 10 tonne
An additional £10 per hour when undertaking excavating activity (avg 100 hours per month)
Must have valid CPCS or NPORS card (valid/in date)
Genera Requirements
Full UK driving license
Own PPE (boots & trousers)
Experience working @ heights ( engineers/ operative works at heights using a cherry picker) desirable but not essential
Able to work in all weather conditions
The right candidate has the scope to progress and develop their skills further in Wireless, Fibre and Antenna technologies.
You will be required to travel to Simonstone, Burnley, BB12 for two-week training and induction. All work will be in the North West so no overnight stays are required.
