Our User Support Team is seeking a User Support Analyst to provide second-line desktop and application support for computing and audio-visual technology across all campuses.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to investigate complex hardware problems, provide remote assistance and support at the desk side, supporting staff and students. You will also play a vital role in supporting the University's busy calendar of events, including Welcome Week, Clearing, and summer pre-sessional activities, as well as supporting the use of Microsoft Teams, Live Team events, and Hybrid events throughout the teaching day.
As our User Support Analyst, you will provide advice on DTS' supported systems, licensed software, email, applications, printing, networking, and Microsoft Teams. Additionally, you will help maintain installation and maintenance procedures and standards, propose and help to develop service improvements, and feedback on any processes or services where improvements can be made.
To succeed in this role, you must be customer-focused, able to provide excellent customer service to students, staff, and visitors of the University. You should also be well-versed in IT hardware and software, able to troubleshoot and fix hardware/software computer faults, deal with installations, and assist with the disposal of old and faulty equipment as required and in line with University policies.
