What you’ll do
Digital transformation is a journey not a one off-event. It needs to be nurtured and grown by talented people who experiment, fail fast and innovate at pace. We are looking for a highly motivated, analytical and creative User Researcher to join our growing Digital Experience team. We are looking for a User Researcher with experience using analytics tools, so that we can incorporate more analytics into our research programme. You’ll be working across a variety of platforms and products, testing and gaining insights that reveal the motivations and behaviours of users when they interact with us using the latest technologies.
Collaborate in developing a premium research environment using the latest user research innovations and methods.- Work with the team to support the planning, execution and communication of projects that reveal the motivations and behaviours of our users to inform and support the product team’s roadmap.
- Collaborate in developing and executing user research studies with a range of qualitative and quantitative methods.
- Support fellow user researchers to bring web analytics into our research studies.
- Effectively collaborate with the Analytics and Customer Insight teams to identify opportunities and build a solid understanding of our customer base.
- Effectively interpret and integrate Analytics data with user research insights.
- Identify the best techniques to provide actionable cross-function insight for product and UX design teams.
Who you are
- Experience gathering and delivering actionable insights from user research or analytics for product development and optimisation.
- Confident using analytics tools (Adobe Analytics & Decibel preferred)
- Experience with quantitative methods like surveys, eyetracking, web analytics and user testing.
- Experience with exploratory and evaluative qualitative research methods.
- Evidence of how you’ve impacted your teams through research and analytics.
- Ability to produce reports that effectively capture and communicate key observations and findings to stakeholders.
- Ability to synthesize research findings and to uncover and articulate insights that will inform and inspire design.
- Strong communication, critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills.
