About the Role:
Wiley Partner Solutions is seeking a User Experience Researcher for our digital products and services. Acting as an empathetic advocate for our users, you will help gather user insights, monitor the current user experience, and share your findings with the UX and Product teams so we can continue to empower our users to effectively access research as well as author, submit, manage, and disseminate their research to the world. This position is full time on a dedicated team of UX researchers and designers.
How you will make an impact:
Continuously monitoring feedback from our users across multiple products and services.
Proactively designing and executing both quantitative and qualitative research projects to gather user insights to help our discovery process.
Consolidating user feedback and the challenges they face into clear reports for the UX and Digital Product Management teams.
Directly and regularly collaborating with colleagues to set up and execute user research which will inform and validate design direction.
Consulting on strategic product and UX decisions.
Expanding our repository of user insights to inform many teams within our Partner Solutions Business quickly and continuously as we execute our product vision and strategy.

- his role will be key in joining up end-to-end experiences our customers have across several product lines, including recent large acquisitions. Your work will balance the redesign and growth of existing products as well as delivery and integration of brand-new products. As you integrate new products and services, you’ll get to work with a variety of technologies, from content management systems to workflow management systems, from eCommerce technologies to machine learning capabilities.
What we look for:
Familiar with both quantitative and qualitative UX Research approaches.
Detail-oriented with an excellent command of written and spoken English.
Organized and capable of handling many workstreams at once.
Highly collaborative and comfortable bringing different teams together to brainstorm and solve problems.
Proactive and able to work independently on projects as well as participate in group discussions and team decision-making.
Able to condense large amounts of user feedback into a clear and organized readout.
Tech-savvy and able to quickly learn and adapt to new programs and web platforms.
Familiar with the scholarly publishing landscape.
