An exciting development opportunity has arisen for enthusiastic motivated individuals within the Rotherham Care Group. We are looking for Urgent Care Support Workers to work with our Acute Inpatient team. This is a new and exciting role and there are several positions.
Rotherham Acute Inpatient services are part of RDaSH Foundation Trust, which is committed to providing exceptional quality and efficient services and supporting staff to deliver these services to the highest standards. It is a diverse business unit which includes community and inpatient services.
The position is for a support worker to work across the acute pathway at Swallownest Court. The successful candidates will facilitate the smooth running of the section 136 Suite along with supporting the other ward areas in line with the Trust standards and policies. Other duties will involve working alongside our Patient Discharge Assistants to facilitate patient flow and enable safe and effective discharge when clinically appropriate.
The post holder will be expected to liaise and communicate effectively with relatives, community colleagues, other allied health professionals, external agencies, and medical/nursing staff. It is a wide and varied role!
This role will be shift work and will cover a 24-hour period.
We are looking for a candidate who is motivated and enthusiastic with advanced communication skills and an ability to demonstrate effective leadership qualities; to ensure the delivery of high-quality care. The candidate must have good problem-solving abilities, to be able to work as part of the team, but also be autonomous in their practice.
