Role overview:
- Interview young people face-to-face or remotely and undertake appropriate one-to-one family work with them
- You’ll provide a range of services, including one-to-one work with young people and family mediation and advice for young people and their parent/guardian
- You’ll contact family members as appropriate and facilitate initial information sessions with them and provide telephone based support
- You’ll identify issues and concerns with individual young people and pass on all relevant information to internal colleagues and external stakeholders
What do you need to be considered for this role?
- Experience of working with vulnerable children, young people, and families at times of stress
- Experience in one or more of the following areas: Counselling, Youth Work, Housing, Advice, Social Work, Legal Field, Family Mediation, Family Support Work, Family Group Conferencing
- Knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation affecting young people including the Social Services and Wellbeing (Wales) Act 2014, the Children Act 1989 and awareness of new legislation affecting this client group.

Working Hours: Full time (35 Hours per week), Plus an on call rota*
*Additional payment of £79.20 for on call
Any shift completed voluntarily or as part of on call will be paid in addition to your salary at relief rates;
Relief Pay per hour £11.55
Sleepover £155.70
