Milk Education are working with a lovely school in Walker to hire a full time Nursery Teaching Assistant to start full time in April 2023.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a modern, forward thinking primary school where the Headteacher is eager to provide the right candidate with superb training and on the job learning.

Nursery Teaching Assistant Roles and Responsibilities:

• Planning and supervising fun and educational activities
• Managing a daily schedule that includes activities, toilet breaks, lunch and rest time
• Observing children and taking notes of any problematic behaviour
• Communicating with parents and staff members
• Ensuring the safety of children
• Helping children learn numeracy and language through daily activities

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous childcare experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Understanding of the EYFS framework
• Experience working with young children and/or in a nursery provision
• A passion for supporting children in education, be energetic, enthusiastic and motivated when working with 2 to 7 year olds.
