Role supporting the global equipment rebuild and installation team
- Under general supervision, installs and maintains electronic instrumentation on cementing equipment.
- Perform all levels of electrical / electronic installation and preventive maintenance. Unsupervised control systems support and repair for electro-mechanical equipment.

Under general supervision, assists with the installation, commissioning, diagnostics and repair of cementing equipment on offshore drilling rigs
- Equipment includes; PLC Control systems, motor starter panels, electrical enclosures, diesel engines, transmissions, high pressure pumps, microprocessor controls, electro-mechanical equipment, generators, chemical metering systems, 12/24v electrical systems, equipment cabs and controls and a variety of other energy services equipment
- Performs Ex inspections required by the company, and government entities
- Perform troubleshooting on electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Installs and/or replaces new or reconditioned components
- Requires good working knowledge of electrical block and termination diagrams, installation and equipment drawings, hydraulic and pneumatic circuits/drawings/prints
- Requires good working knowledge of single phase and three phase AC power distribution systems. Equipment isolation and safe working practices.
- Responsible for ensuring duties are performed in a safe, efficient, and effective manner
- Promotes safety awareness and environmental consciousness, and comply with all applicable safety and environmental procedures and regulations
- Job role requires working at workshop, offshore, shipyard / quayside work, including occasional international travel.
Education and Experience
- Skills are typically acquired through completion of an associate degree or 3+ year vocational training in electrical / electronic technology or equivalent, and 2 years’ in related electrical/electronic fields.
- CompEx (EX01-EX04) certification required.

Desirable Experience
- Ability to use diagnostic equipment and software (i.e. Cat ET, Prolink, STEP 7 etc.)
- VFD/VSD interfaces
