Nomo Brand Coordinator – Undergraduate Placement/ Year in Industry - Summer 2023 Start

Home Based with travel to Zertus locations as required

Are you a current undergraduate looking for a fun and creative year in industry? Would you like to gain experience working with a well-known, award winning brand? You’ve probably heard of us, we’re NOMO, the UK’s number 1 free-from chocolate brand made by Kinnerton Confectionery and the Zertus UK & Ireland team!

We’re seeking an Undergraduate to join the Zertus Brand Marketing team to support our NOMO Brand Manager. Throughout your placement year you will gain invaluable insight into the realities of working within a product-led brand marketing team in order to build credible experience to support your degree.

You will assist in driving the growth of the NOMO brand, gaining experience in areas such as:

  • FMCG Brand Marketing
  • Product management
  • Budget planning
  • Competitor analysis
  • Category management
  • Digital performance

This role will be particularly focused on trade marketing, providing the opportunity to also work with all of the leading UK retailers including Tesco, Sainsburys, ASDA, Waitrose. You will acquire an in-depth knowledge of confectionery as a category.

Skills you’ll need to succeed as a NOMO Brand Coordinator:

We’re looking for a creative, highly organised undergraduate who is currently studying a relevant degree in Marketing, Business or a similar creative subject. You’ll need to be studying a qualification which requires a year in industry starting summer 2023 to be considered for this role.

When you join Zertus, you will be based at one of our Humdinger, Kinnerton, Sun Valley or Lir Chocolates UK/ Ireland locations, unless your role is hybrid/ home based.

Our Locations: Hull, Heckington, Sherburn-in-Elmet, Fakenham, Bromborough, Navan (Ireland). We have a Hub Space in Camden, London for Hybrid/ Home Workers too.

Work Pattern: Monday - Friday, 09:00 - 17:30 (1 hour break). £20,000 per annum
