This Business Analyst role will be required to support the UnaVista MiFIR Reg Reporting business line. This consist of multiple teams working concurrently in the Agile methodology providing change and tier 3 support. This role is to support the establish teams, bringing MiFIR specialist knowledge and business analysis skills.
The key responsibilities of the role are:

Establish best practice, Agile driven processes for defining and documenting requirements, processes and delivery of UnaVista’s solutions.

Analyse technical, business and regulatory requirements, assess commercial opportunities and translate them into detailed product requirements.

Breaking down each epic into features or stories with the appropriate level of details to achieve definition of ready i.e. development can start at the beginning of the next sprint.

Work with technical product teams, internal stake holders and customers to ensure that business solutions are correctly documented, built and maintained.

Produce client facing collateral

Be or become highly knowledgeable in the relevant business domains.

Ensure that all work is in accordance with the defined project management and application development lifecycle process

Develop SME regulatory reporting knowledge

Working with the other UnaVista Business Analysts to design, implement and maintain the Business Analysis standards.

Tracking compliance to the relevant regulations, documenting any assumptions and reviewing with the relevant compliance officers

Providing any detailed feedback requested by regulators or for a PIR

Reviewing the test cases created by the QA team to ensure they correctly validate the new functionality
Essential skills and experience
-
Good knowledge of MiFIR Regulatory Reporting, understanding how it is used in practice

Experience in large investment banking or financial services organisations

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Able to identify root causes of problems and to evaluate information with sound judgement, attention to detail and accuracy

Previous Business Analyst experience

A strong understanding of the Scrum Guide, including roles, events and behaviours

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Must be self-motivated and have a desire to engage in process improvement

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively manage stakeholder relationships

Experience in user story writing and story mapping

Able to analyse business needs and activities and translate them into UnaVista solution requirements
