Harbour Shipping has been trading since 1983 and we are proud of the partnerships we have developed with the major ferry operators in the UK and Europe, including P&O Ferries, Eurotunnel, DFDS Seaways and Stena Line, offering ferry booking services throughout Europe to companies carrying freight.

We are currently looking for a candidate to join our sales team offering ferry booking services and European motorway/tunnel toll facilities to the UK and Irish market.

Working as part of our UK and Ireland sales team, you will be responsible for assisting in the development and growth of our existing and potential client base, primarily by way of telephone sales and working closely with all departments to ensure customer service levels are maintained to the highest standards.

Previous experience of sales and/or customer service is required along with a "can do" enthusiastic attitude.

Main Tasks

Telephone sales to potential and existing clients

Production of written quotations for potential clients

Participation in obtaining leads for us by the sales team

Based in our office in the Eastern Docks, Dover this position offers a starting salary of £23,500 per annum, company pension scheme and 22 days holiday per year plus all UK Bank Holidays. There is also a profit-related commission scheme (average annual commission £6,000 per annum).
