What role you will play in our team
Specialist UK Policy Advisor to join the Low Carbon Solutions team in Leatherhead. The position will play a key part in developing business strategies leading policy and content development for CCS and hydrogen in the UK.
What you will do
Lead LCS Policy / content development for CCS and Blue H2 in the UK including funding application, where applicable.- Establish EM policy and regulatory positions on CCS and H2 relevant to new and proposed legislation, CO2 transportation issues, new hydrogen opportunities as well as appliable issues related to assets such as abandonment and liability.
- Understand the process for and inform advocacy and application for securing pore space for the UK region.
- Represent LCS at key trade associations.
About you
Minimum University Degree 2:1 or above in a relevant discipline.- Relevant industry experience.
- A fluent English speaker, additional languages advantageous.
- Demonstrated policy and/or legislative experience including the development and implementation of advocacy positions.
- Builds and maintains strong relationships; with key external counterparties and across internal boundaries.
- Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with applicable external counterparts such as Governments, IOCs and other partners.
