UK OPERATIONS TEAM LEADER/ MANCHESTER CITY CENTRE/ HYBRID ROLE – MIN TWO DAYS PER WEEK IN OFFICE/ £32K PLUS BENEFITS
Our people make all the difference in our success, WEX is currently recruiting for an Operations Team Leader to join and lead our rapidly expanding team in Manchester City Centre. If successful you will be a key player in our European team, ensuring that the UK based operations team assist with the wider European team to achieve targets.

Knowledge and Skills required
- Previous experience of leading expanding teams.
- Experience of resource management.
- Ability to motivate teams.
- Able to multitask
- Work to deadlines and budgets
- Flexibility to provide assistance to other team leaders / managers
- Taking ownership of problems and creating solutions without direct guidance from senior management.
Essential Duties and responsibilities
- Leadership of the growing UK based team- to ensure that stakeholders receive the best possible service.
- Working part of the manager team, deliver continuous improvement plan and drive continuous Customer Satisfaction
- Accountability for all work within SLA and KPI and contracts.
- Daily audits on completed workload
- Manage team resource and direct staff where necessary
- Complete and responsible for all HR activity within the team including; Absence Reviews, Lateness, Investigations and Disciplinary meetings.
- Provide cover for other Team Leaders and Management, where necessary.
- Delivery of customer campaign support as and when needed.
- Training – each member of your team must be multi skilled and ability to support on Cross Country processes.
- Responsibility for Audits, Key Accounts, Partner Relationship and Remote managed customers.
- Setting goals to ensure improved performance.
- Daily sessions with the team – to set resource and ensure business updates are shared.
- Dealing with escalations.
- Monthly Review and Fortnightly coaching sessions with individuals and team as a whole.
