We have a fantastic opportunity for a UK & IR Country Head to join Lovehoney Group.
As UK & IR Country head, you will be responsible for our UK & IR ecommerce team and the marketing and trading strategy for the websites aimed to these markets.
You will be managing and coordinating a team of trading managers, marketeers, digital product managers, analysts, merchandizers and further experts in order to successfully run these websites. You will be leveraging on raw data to take informed Business Intelligence decisions through Data Analysis and BI tools.
You will provide leadership and direction to cross functional teams while working with other Country Managers and cross departments to capture and optimise synergies. You strongly cooperate with the Head of Marketplaces, the Head of Brandshops and the B2B Director. You will report into the VP eCommerce.
As Country Head, you are responsible for the Business/Marketing plan creation, including budgets and forecast. You will work to ensure deadlines are met and budgets are maintained. You will hold responsibility for the resulting P&L.
You will develop and further establish monthly/quarterly/annual performance KPI and progress reports and provide frequent updates to upper management.
Please note, you will be required to be based in our central Bath office up to 3 times per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the creation of the regional marketing plan by the UK marketing manager and the creation of the trading (sales) plan by the trading manager of the country to increase sales and margin by developing new products/advertising campaigns, updating & optimizing website content, and generating traffic, new leads etc.
- Oversee the country strategy across all channels (retail, MPs, brandshops, B2B adult, mainstream) to ensure that the group leverages channels, portfolio and POS in the best possible way and optimizes for growth and EBITDA. The country manager is responsible to implement both a process for the strategy development as well as execution.
- Oversee the product manager strategy for website optimization to increase conversion rates and drive sales, AOV, improves BU funnel.
- Develop a strong e-commerce trading culture within the country team through in-depth weekly and monthly management reporting against all key KPI’s and detailed understanding of on-site customer journey
- A strong business and digital background with experience in digital development and sales optimization, ideally Salesforce Commerce Cloud
- Proven work (a minimum of 5 years experience) as a manager managing teams within ecommerce and digital, preferable ecommerce retail
- Proven results of increasing online sales
- Proven ability in leading, developing, motivating and inspiring teams with an international outlook – leading teams on distance
- As a leader, being analytical and strategical as well as hands on and always find ways forward through engaging and inspiring the team and stakeholders
- Commercial as well as strategic mind-set and understanding of forward planning and creative solutions
- Experience of being an active part of a management team
