Role Overview
We are seeking a UI/UX Web Designer to work closely with our CTO, the role will be split with an 80% bias towards design and UI/UX in Figma or similar on the design and build of websites. The remaining 20% will be predominantly focused on developing and implementing new digital initiatives, web building and leading us into a new digital design arena.
You will need to be a commercially aware and creative designer who is happy to work to tight timescales and understands the importance of working with a passionate team whilst maintaining high standards. Responsibilities
- Working with the CTO on the design and build of a number of websites
- Apply UI/UX design principles, standards and best practices to ensure consistency, usability and accessibility of the web experiences
- Develop wireframes, mock-ups, storyboards, and interactive prototypes to effectively communicate design concepts and gather feedback.
- Bring ideas to life through static visuals, sketches and storyboards
- Implementing a fully digital solution with current and future training materials.
- Optimise designs for usability, accessibility, and scalability, considering different devices and platforms.
- Design of engaging and effective email campaigns.
- Provide design guidance for the wider team
- Keep up-to-date with product and industry trends
You will need to have:
- Proven experience as a UI or UX Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your visual design skills and ability to create engaging interfaces - Essential
- Proficient in using design tools such as Figma & Adobe to create web design assets and prototypes - Essential
- Knowledge of front-end development technologies (HTML5, CSS3, SCSS) - Essential
- Some coding experience in JQuery and/or PHP - Ideal
- Solid understanding of user-centred design principles, layout composition, colour theory, and typography
- Ability to work against very tight target dates in a dynamic environment.
- Team player with a positive ‘can do’ attitude and a supportive communication style
Salary: £35k-40k
Location/Hours: Homebased with weekly meetups with CTO at our Chiswick HQ, or in Bristol

Salary: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
