Our primary product is a web-based application which allows event planners and wider stakeholders to collaborate on geographical information.

Iventis’ main office is in Lincoln (East Midlands - UK). This role can be remote, with occasional travel to Iventis’ offices or another locations for in-person meetings. Due to the nature of our work, the role is likely to include some international travel. We offer a range of benefits including flexible working and opportunities to travel.
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced UI/UX designer to join our growing, innovative company. You will be helping to further develop our products by performing research/gathering feedback, designing wireframes/prototypes and producing designs and graphic content.
Responsibilities
- Create user-centred designs by understanding business requirements and user feedback
- Understand user’s needs and jobs to be done
- Create journey maps, user flows, wireframes, mock-ups and interactive prototypes
- Conduct ongoing user research and gather feedback
- Collaborate closely and effectively with product and engineering teams
- Contribute to company graphic standards and guidelines
- Maintain the design and component libraries
- Prepare designs for development
- Work closely with the engineering team to ensure designs are implemented correctly
About You
- 2 + years of previous digital design experience in an agile environment with a portfolio that showcases your process
- An expert in user-centric design and best practices
- Deep experience with prototyping, using tools such as Figma/Sketch/Framer
- Be familiar with using, creating, updating and maintaining Design Systems
- Understand and use atomic design principles
- Awareness of accessible design standards/best practices
- Know how to get the best results from analysing both qualitative and quantitative user data
- Strong attention to interaction design & detail and a keen eye for aesthetics (general graphic design skills/interest would be a bonus)
- Strong team player who can collaborate effectively with other disciplines
- Excellent communication skills.
