About us
GP Tyrehouse is a business based in Cheshunt and also a site in Ware. We work in partnership with LELLERS Car Valeting and have our own SMART REPAIR division. With a group of over 30 staff, we operate 7 different companies.
Our goal is to provide a quality service with customer service second to none.
The role includes Tyre fitting, checking, punctures, repairs and ordering. Dealing with customers face to face and recommending the best advise. We have been in the trade for 37 years.
Alloy wheel spraying and Diamondcutting are an added bonus but training is offered.
Mechanical mind is also a bonus as we do our onsite small repairs.

You will be working as part of a team but will be the main Tyre Fitter.
We are looking for an experienced Fitter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing and maintaining a variety of equipment and machinery. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of mechanical systems, excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision. We are looking for someone who is highly motivated, detail-oriented and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Install and repair machinery and equipment.
- Perform maintenance on machinery and equipment.
- Perform regular inspections of machinery and equipment.
- Troubleshoot mechanical problems.
- Conduct tests to ensure that machines are working properly.
- Replace worn or damaged parts.

Salary: £30,643.00-£32,314.00 per year
