This is an amazing opportunity to develop a career in TV Production, gaining experience providing support and assistance to help with the delivery of content for our TV campaigns! Not only do you get hands-on training and the chance to put your skills into practice, but you will also earn while you learn!
As an Apprentice in TV Production, you’ll study for the Production Assistant Apprenticeship, whilst working with our brilliant Production team. You will share our passion for creating eye-catching work for our high profile clients.
As a TV Production Apprentice you’ll be…
- Booking resource, studios, voiceover artists and freelance operators.
- Ordering & Logging production & post-production equipment.
- Liaising with producers & editors alike to assist with managing workflow through the departments.
- Organising meetings
- Organising schedules and budgets for lower-budget projects, including radio, TV & content (experience dependant), with the opportunity to independently manage these within time.
Minimum Criteria:
Our Apprenticeships are open to anyone over the age of 18 who shares our passion for Creativity. For the TV Production Apprenticeship you must have a GCSE Grade 4/C or above in English and Maths and a desire to learn and develop a career in the exciting world of Production.

As our Apprentices will be studying a Level 3 Standard apprenticeship, we are unfortunately unable to consider Graduates with degrees in Marketing, PR or Advertising disciplines for the Apprenticeship programme, due to course overlap.

- Organisational, administrative and budgeting skills
- Ability to demonstrate knowledge of and a genuine interest in television and radio is essential.
Entry requirements
Applicants should be literate and numerate. GCSE grade C/4 and above in English and Maths (or other Level 2 qualification).
Training to be provided
You will be completing a Production Assistant Level 3 Apprenticeship with Creative Alliance.
You will have training on the job and off the job with the award winning, creative specilaised provider Creative Alliance.

Genre and Idea creation
Responding to brief
How to prepare and pitch
How to operate in a media team and be part of pre production
Dealing with Talent, Contibutors and Suppliers
Budgets
On shoot - technical skills and communication skills
Editing and post production workflow.

Things to consider
When it comes to application processes, ours is a little different. We don’t want a CV, we want to see your creativity. This could be via any medium that you feel the most comfortable using. How about a video? Or a social media post? A poem? Your choice!

Future prospects
If successful you will be invited to an assessment centre which will include group exercises, an interview and a numerical reasoning test – and of course, lots of laughs and fun along the way! This will be followed by an interview with some of the team.
